I searched for words to write
To describe all you have done to me with all your might

I searched for how best to describe
The morals which you made me imbibe

I searched for ways to express how grateful I am
Even for things as inconsequential as pounding yam

I searched for the best way to express how I feel
To best tell you how I love you for real

No adjective is enough to depict what you are
Even when I sought through all the lexicons

You are the one that pulled me from my messy emotions
Now I stand tall like a made man

All because you are my number one fan
